This past Sunday we didn’t have a record breaking crowd, but an amazing spirit filled the Capstone auditorium. On Father’s Day we heard from Francis Chan who preached on “God is STRONG.” We so often forget that our heavenly father is the creator of the universe and has our back. As His children we must claim our inheritance with boldness and strength from God. We ended the service with “Mighty to Save” and “How Great is our God”. The choir of Capstone didn’t just sing, but worshipped our Strong God with all our heart, soul, and mind!

This Sunday we will be making serval big annoucements about the rest of the summer. We will have news about our July Community Event, our kids summer camp, and our student road trip for August.
We will be continuing our series One Prayer with Francis Chan speaking on God is STRONG. Francis always does a great job of speaking biblical truth and doesn’t hold back.
So grab your dad this Sunday (Father’s Day) and make sure you are at Capstone.
June 19th (this Friday) we will be having our first Community Dinner of the summer. Capstone Community Dinners are monthly gatherings for our folks to celebrate, fellowship, and meet some new people at Capstone.
This month we are bringing everyone together at the Gladdens. We will be getting started at 6:30pm. We are asking everyone bring a picnic dinner to eat by the pool. Capstone will be providing the drinks and some home made ice cream. If you haven’t signed up - NO WORRIES - come on over.
The Gladdens have a pool so bring your swim trunks. Here are the directions to their house:
385 South to Exit 24 (Fairview St.) Turn Left.
Go to 4 way stop, and go straight onto Greenpond Rd.

Over the past several weeks we have had a number of people asking about the songs we do at Capstone on Sunday Morning. So we will start posting each week’s set list- so that our folks will be able to purchase the songs or album. This Week at Capstone we wrapped up our Cap Stones Series. During the month of May we looked at the Foundations of Discipleship: Personal Growth (SOAP), Giving, Serving and Community. We finished up the series with community and celebrated together by taking part in Communion together.
